Canyonhill Advances, a small-business funding service in Mankato, Minnesota, sets out its role on this page: it matches requests with funding partners who decide independently. The page covers partner offers, merchant cash advances, information sharing and checks before accepting any offer.
What Canyonhill Advances is, and what it is not
Canyonhill Advances is a broker. It does not lend its own money, does not make credit decisions and does not set rates, factors or terms. It takes funding requests by phone and online form and matches them with funding partners.
Partners that receive a request decide on their own whether to make an offer and on what terms. Submitting a request does not mean an offer will follow.
Partner decisions and written offers
Each partner reviews requests under its own criteria and may ask for records. Any offer comes in writing from the partner. You are never obliged to accept an offer, and Canyonhill cannot accept one for you.
Merchant cash advances are not loans
A merchant cash advance is a purchase of future receipts at a discount, not a loan. The funder collects an agreed share of receipts, or a fixed debit, until the purchased amount has been delivered. Its cost is set by a factor rather than an interest rate.
Sharing the information you give us
Information from the request form or a call is used to match your request and may be shared with funding partners that consider it. The privacy policy, linked in the footer, lists the categories of information collected and your choices.
What to check before accepting any offer
- The total repaid or remitted, with every fee included.
- The payment or collection schedule against your slowest weeks.
- Collateral, liens and any personal-guarantee clause.
- Prepayment terms and what counts as a default.
- For an advance: the factor, holdback or fixed debit, and reconciliation rights.
